Hi All,

I purchased a 2001 K1200RS last month in NYC area, took the train there from central Virginia, then rode it home via Pennsylvania. That was fun!

What an awesome bike. Understand, I am coming off a 2006 Kawasaki KLR 650. I did love that bike but certainly now have a whole new thing going.

I'm looking forward to many years of fun.

:dance

Wow, that is a big change. I think you are going to like it. I was able to ride one briefly about a month ago and they are one smooth ride. I don't need to mention all the great riding you have up there. Enjoy the ride.

welcome

Welcome aboard! good to have another Virginian Im south of Richmond on the NC state line. I do get up your way on occasion. Let us know what winter riding you are planning. Maybe i can join in.

Thanks for the welcome. Good to hear from other Virginians too. Looking forward to riding with others as well.

cheers.

Welcome Lakerider ...
Hey all, I love getting up around Meadows of Dan and Charlottsville isn't that far away. If you're gonna set up a ride, count me in. I'm just over the border in NC in a little town named Hillsborough.
