1200 miles, bike sat for 4 months but had fuel conditioner in it.It will crank over but not light off,any ideas before it goes to the dealer?

Verify the fuel pump is coming on. Key on - hear pump start?

Sitting 4 months does not harm electrons, but fuel can go bad.

Welcome to the forum.
As Paul mentioned- listen fro the buzz of the fuel pump running.
Verify it has gas in it- enough to start.
A fully charged battery will help.
A flick of the handle bar mounted off switch never hurts.
A check of the smell/odor for a foul-stale smell of the gas will give you an idea.
if you add gas- perhaps some Techron to get you started off.

Light a match!

NO, just kidding. Somebody mention AIR! This too needs checking. Them little critters, as in MICE can ruin your day in the air intake, nesting there! I live in mouse country, find'em everywhere. Rancher here, with barn and hay and large critters, chickens and mice love all the above. Bikes too are not beyond their likes. A stored bike, perfect mouse home. Take the air box apart, intake especially(1200GS) has a perfect mouse hole. Even bad gas makes some noise, but good checking it. Randy:thumb:usa
