Funny blog about Alice's in Woodside, CA

Well, I don't really see it as funny, but as true. And also as to the Rock Store.
Oh so many rant and rave about "oh yeah, man, it's cool to ride up there and hang around" and other such stuff.
But I think it's ridiculous. Nothing but a cluster **** ride.
However, as to both locations, go on a weekday. No weekend warriors whatsoever.
The last time I was at the Rock Store on a Tuesday or Thursday (?, they are closed) and I was the only one in the parking lot. About 5 bikes went by while I drank some water, then rode into Agoura for lunch.
At Alice's, it was the end of last December and Steve (Motech) and John met me there for lunch. A Tuesday or Wednesday? There were maybe 4 bikes in addition to our 3, and 4 or 5 cars.
And the roads in all directions were wide open.
So there's a way to do it right, and a way to do it wrong. That's the truth as I see it.
