Pretty much every BMW Speedo seems to be a fast. PMDave started a great thread about this at http://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?t=5632

There are three things you can do.
1) Invest in a GPS. Mount it between the handle bars. Fun and expensive, $300+ on up.
2) Attach a bicycle computer, Sigma Sport is a good choice. Cost around $27.00. Aerostich sells them.
3) Live with the bike as is. Cost $0
BTW, nice bike. Great for around town or cross country.
