rear drive check

Looking to change rear drive lube in my 2006 K1200R, to check for proper level do I see lube come out level plug on side stand, center stand or just put in 180cc and call it good?

Go with the actual volume measure of 180 mL. Any more than that can cause over pressureing due to temperature expansion and possibly blowing the oil past the seals as the FD is non-vented.

+1 -- unlike the airheads, the hole in the side of the FD is NOT a level indicator.
