Replaced Starter Relay

Replaced Starter Relay on 1982 R100RT Purchased in April

Attached pic of old one...Really Corroded.

I sprayed connector with Contact Cleaner and also pulled plug off ECU & did same.

Applied light coat of Dielectric Grease.

WOW!!

The indicator lights are so much brighter I can't believe it.

If you have not checked this area for crud recently. I recommend it.

did you stop there, with the tank off checking one realy and cleaning, I would have taken the time to clean em all, every connection I could find
 
I did do the wires on the coils.

Anxious to get out for a good test ride yesterday.

I will take your advice and go back in again today for a final check.
