R1100RS Corbin Seat

I'm looking at buying a new corbin seat for my R1100RS as my wife is in extreme amounts of pain with the stock seat. Just curious if anyone had any comments on the new style corbin seat since they dont make the rumble seat anymore; Specifically passenger comfort. Is the passenger side of the seat sloped forward or is it cupped and comfortable for traveling? I would also be interested in a used seat if anyone has one they want to unload.

I can't speak personally about Corbin, but my wife and I like our Sargent seat. Lot's of folks have been unhappy about poor quality and customer service with Corbin.

I've used stock and Corbin. Actually liked both. Got the Corbin with the bike and ran it 3 or 4 years. A buddy had a R1100RS and said the stock seats were good. Got the front and rear stock seats and ran them 10 years. The front seat is starting to deteriorate. So it's time to go back to the Corbin or recover the stock seat.

Barry, what color are you needing?

I've got a matching F & R in dark charcoal grey. not black. Good condition.

Your passenger will not like the Corbin--way to firm for most women. For the same price or perhaps a bit less you can order a Russell Day Long.

Plus, if you have any customer issues with Corbin you are completely screwed. Their service after the sale is awful.

Cheers!
