I purchased my first BMW, an 09 K1200LT, early in April with 9,600 miles. It now has over 12,000 and is doing fine. I am a retired pastor in Newton, Iowa who has been riding steadily since 2007, and on and off before that. Best wishes to everyone, and ride safely. Pastor Gene Bryant

Welcome to the BMWMOA forum.
The LT is an outstanding touring machine. I had one for 90,000 wonderful miles and it was by far the most comfortable bike I ever owned for two up riding.
As I am sure you have found, it can be heavy in parking lots and very slow speeds. Once moving it is an outstanding ride!
