I had to stop, save this guy. Traffic was non existent however and he was probably safe. Oark:). These little box turtles are all about the area and frequent the roads! Kind a like that familiar chicken tale, why the turtle cross the road?:dance

Once saw a tractor trailer rig swerve to HIT a large snapping turtle crossing the road in Texas. You just earned some good Karma/ PETA points which can't be all bad, nice work.

Well:)

I'm on a ranch, "Bar"O"Ranch". Last name Owens:). I respect most critters, won't kill'em for no good reason, but do believe in hunting and eating well. My little friend here, just a cool little critter saved by a BeemerDude:) far from home in the Ozarks. Randy:thumb
