BMW MOA Life Membership

Received the April 2012 ON wrapped in a plastic bag with a prospectus for Superstakes III. In the Superstakes pamphlet I see that the third item on the list of prizes is a Life membership in the BMW MOA. I find this to be curious since these were done away with a few years ago.

Well, it's a prize, not an offer for sale. You can win a bike, some tires, or a lifetime membership. Seems OK to me.

Life memberships were reinstated in January of this year and can be purchased currently. The price is $999, but it would be more fun to win one!

If a life member won another life membership would this change his place in the actuarial tables or perhaps run him through some sort of glitch in the space/time continuum ?

You do know I'm joking.....don't you?

I bought my Life membership 10 years ago and I feel like I've aged 30 years since. I believe a 2nd one would finish me off. :bolt

Maybe you get to award the second life to someone else after you croak....hmmmmm:dunno

Its been so long since I bought my life membership but it seems like I bought it for $325. I"m sure its been enough years that I would have spent spent way more on the yearly dues than $325. So the next 20-30 years I'll be kicking are pure savings. Finally, I managed to make a wise financial decision!
