Cooking and Campfires at the Rally

This is my first BMW Rally and I'd like to camp out. Will cooking and campfires be allowed? If not, will the local Firemen or VFW be cooking up breakfast and the rest? I'm hoping that there will be some large fire rings for socializing and singing (LOL....). Thanks.

Bring your campstove and cook all you want. As for a campfire you can forget it. Not many fairgrounds would look favorably on fire pits all over the place. Besides with a few thousand tents all in close proximity how long do you think it would take some burning embers to cause serious damage. If you want singing well then get yourself over to the beer garden. Lots of out of tune singing usually happening there. Finding food at the rallies is usually pretty darn easy.
