GT Giant, the new kid for 2012!

The GT Giant will be using many of the technologies available to the modern Giant today. Social media, Global Positioning System coordinates, and good ÔÇÖol map and compass skills all will be used in this competition. You need to be ready to compete not against the other Giants, but also against the daunting task of managing your energy.

YouÔÇÖll be in an exclusive group who can find obscure locations, maneuver a motorcycle better then anyone else, and be able to humbly impart some knowledge to others so the future of motorcycling and the BMWMOA can be made stronger for the future. All this for only a few dollars, now what will you get in the GT Giant:

Giant Trip
Answers to the questions you ask under the helmet
Across America are roads, places and events that feed your curisosity, ignite your spirit, and capture your imagination. Each tell a story, with no two being the same. But this is not just a feat for the long-distance Giant, but also for the more focused and interested Giant in the border between Kansas and Nebraska.

Giant Competition
Oh yeah, bring it.
This fun competition will occur on Friday, July 20 at the rally site and feature a motorcycle gymkhana. Giant Competition is where you show your Giant riding skills that you have been telling all your friends about. YouÔÇÖre going to love this action, and the chance to win points and prizes. And with a "Pro-Rider" setting the fast lap, if you can beat his time, even more prizes and points!

Coffee with the Giant

Time to reflect and look to tomorrow
With the Giant awarded, now is the time to find out all the secrets of the successful Giant riders. And weÔÇÖll even bring in a special guest or two! The BMW MOA FoundationÔÇÖs Saturday ÔÇ£Coffee with...ÔÇØ will be our venue to focus on the lessons learned in this competition for all of us to be better riders for the future.

Giant Volunteers
All these events are possible only by some truly dedicated volunteer assistance. Recording the action, monitoring the Giant Competition, registering the Giant Trip photos, and being an active part of the ÔÇ£Coffee with...ÔÇØ is a huge reward in itself. Become a part of the Giant experience by volunteering and youÔÇÖll never be happier.

To volunteer, contact David Grant, hawk_racer_843@yahoo.com, phone: 580-301-7623

When you sign up for the GT Giant and worried about competing against someone on a bigger (or smaller) bike, no worries we got that covered!
Your bike will fall within Mouse (650cc or less), K9 (651cc to 1000cc), or Lion (1001cc on up) to make the competition a bit more fair!

I'll also thank Pandora's Motorsports for signing on as lead sponsor for the GT Giant!

The 40th rally, superstakes 3, and the new GT Giant competition could make this a great riding season.

As you're out on the road, here's the Facebook link to updates on the GT Giant.

Just posted a website that *may* be interesting for the future.
:clap

Here's a picture of the area to be the Giant Track competition. Lots of asphalt to make some very interesting corners and obstacles to ride around.

Why yes, the time has been set for Friday morning to hold the Giant Track competition. The GS riders are always welcome to join in, in fact, they can even sign up to try and win the GT Giant!

Before these hungry GT Giants meet the Giant Track competition we'll be doing some fueling up Thursday evening at the following place: http://www.bandanasbbq.com/

All GS Giants are welcome to ride the track after the GT Giants are done tearing it up!

The track will be open in between the GT and GT Giant events on Friday.

Thursday evening Dinner Social is at 6:30 Thursday night at BandannasBBQ!

Friday morning the GT Giant competition will start at 9:30 with a track walk and then we're running the track!

And open track Saturday at 9:30 for everyone to have some fun!
