Cross Country Round trip

My friend and i are leaving from Allentown PA on 3/24, i will leave Mass. on 3/23, To ride to cali and back. will post notes and pics as we go. I will be on R1150R, Scott has a Ducati ST3. looking forward to a good trip.

Do you plan to stay south and out of the high elevations for awhile?
 
Looks like a great road trip...you should have a great time.

As you head back east in Nevada, better check the weather. Many years ago I was traveling west at the end of May and got hit with 18 inches of snow in Denver. The Eisenhower pass was closed for several days...lots more snow at higher elevation. Decided to take a little detour through New Mexico and Arizona to where I was going..."do you know the way to San Jose?"

That just made the trip more interesting!:dance
