    Carb stick (mercury carburetor tuner)

Can anyone suggest a manufacturer and place to purchase this? Hopefully one with the needed adapters for my R-1100

Go to a dealer that works through Parts Unlimited. You can find the device made by Motion Pro. Also you might be able to find through any of the mail-order places. BTW, Dennis Kirk is the mail-order part of Parts Unlimited.

You should be able to find them at most motorcycle shops or at least order from them. You don't need any adapters, there is all ready a nipple with a rubber cap on each throttle body.

Just curious, why the mercury stix? Since you're posting in the Oilheads section, your username indicates a predilection for twins, a Twin Max would suit you just fine, is non-toxic, and you can even take it with you if desired.

A predilection for twins? YES! But I have a 3 cylinder boat engine that could stand to be synchronized better.

You can make your own with a less than $10 investment. Have a look at this URL http://www.rightspin.com/motorcycles...Mano/mano.html

There is a lot of info on this at the BMWST BBS

You CAN still sync a three or four cyl. with a twin Max. Just do two and then use one for a "common" and switch the other side to the other cylinders.

    budget "carb stix"

I wonder if anyone has added a couple of "tees" to the bottom of the fluid loop ( fluid reservoir) to make a 4 cylinder tester? Does anyone think it wouldn't work?
