Just below the flange you will see where there is a short cylinder(2"+or-)spliced in which makes it a LWB.Most of the collective agree that a complete replacement of the swingarm including driveshaft is the most economical way to go-check used.If the u joint experienced enough trauma to break then the swingarm is probably compromised too.

No. Not exactly. But the drive shaft/u-joint assembly can be repaired. At over $600 for a new drive shaft, I had mine rebuilt for around $200.

In particular, you're looking to hook up with Henderson Precision to rebuild your driveshaft u-joint.

You can buy a good used replacement drive shaft for $25! Check IBMR's flea market or Ebay!
