$1 9-LED flashlight

Mars needs women!
Normally I wouldn't endorse chinese crap, but these things are too good to pass up. Usually 2 for $3, Harbor Freight will have them 2 for $2 black friday. The neat thing is they take 3-AAA batteries, not watch batteries. I use one at work, got one on the bike, in the cars, kitchen, toolbox, gave em to the kids. Heck, the batteries are worth more that a buck. Mine have all held up well with much abuse. They're plenty bright, but name brand batteries make em ever brighter. Great stocking stuffers. Turn them on in the package before you buy, I found some are duds and/or dead LEDs. But have not had one fail on me.

I picked up a three pack for $5 the other day...these things are scattered about near the low budget reading glasses all over my various work spaces:laugh
Each bike has one in the tankbag as well...and as you mention, get the ones that take AAA's

I am looking to give away all my 7/9/21/led lights, my mini-mags, 3 d cell mags, (I will keep the 5 cell in the car for it usefulness as a defensive weapon) after I started buying these. BEST light I have ever owned, brighter than the $35 tactical redline, and smaller than the one shown.

Yes a little more $$, but after you see the light these thing throw it is NO contest! Well built, tough, and did I say BRIGHT. Believe me if you shine these in your face you cannot open your eyes.

I bought a half dozen of them at the dollar store for $2 each. There's lots of places to hide them on the bike. Mind you someone was sell them at the Canadian Motorcycle show as a "waterproof aluminium flashlight" for a mere $7. Those spaces at the show must cost a lot!

I've used these cheapos from Harbor Freight for years...keep them on the bike, around the house and in my cars. I give them to grandkids and take several on Scout camping trips to give to boys without one...and to Scouts with expensive flashlights that broke or ate the batteries.
