Thinking about a k1300s - thoughts?

Try the Gt

Try the 1300 Gt before you buy the S. More features , fewer fuel stops and you wont be giving up much in usable power. A sports bike in disquise. A fighter jet when you squirt it a lear jet when you cruise.

Quite true, though the forward riding position of the "S" inspires more confidence for me in the twisties, just feel more on top of the steering. A friend has a K1200GT and we swapped for a bit while in VT. I prefer my "S" to his GT, but that's me. For slab riding, the GT wins hands down due to wind protection and upright seating.
