Hey Guys! Just got myself a 2006 R1200GS from an Austin dealer and I'm excited to get out on the road. Haven't had time to take any pics so I'll post the one the dealer has up.

It needs a little TLC (one bag doesn't lock on both ends and some minor cosmetic stuff), but I love it so far!

See you on the road! - Joe

Hello Joe

Hi Joe. I'm here in Sharyland. I will be picking up my '82 R65 early next year. I'm also looking for riders down in RGV. Let's meet.

Wilkommen Joe!
Looks like you've got a nice winter project to 'make it your own.' Maybe you can shop for some used parts either here in the MOA "Marketplace" or perhaps the Beemer Boneyard can help... https://www.beemerboneyard.com - Luckily, there are many outlets to find used BMW parts these days...

We just visited AF buds in Harlingen in November. Texas is a three-day trip in most every direction ('cept the panhandle of course...)! It's been such a FUBAR'd year, we decided to go out of our way when returning from SoCal just to add a few more M/C memories from a forgettable 2020. T'was a worthwhile effort.
Happy Trails in the borderland in the New Year!
Ciao!
