Just bought a 2011 R1200RT last week after spending the last six years on heavy Japanese cruisers. What a difference! :dance Hope to work out the ergo kinks over the next few weeks, but overall I'm quite happy with my investment (yeah...that's how I sold it to my wife). I've been lurking for the past week, so I'm sure I'll be liquidating the paypal balance on farkles within a matter of days.

Welcome. I know what you mean about the switch fro heavy Japanese cruisers. I used to ride a Royal Star Venture - 880 lbs.!

The RT is like a toy :newtoy

welcome to the club! I am sure you are going to really like that new RT!! And the farkles...well they are just part of the "investment"...lol...

Congrats Snake!! Nice purchase... and hopefully we'll have plenty of great riding weather this fall to break that baby in!
