Margaritas in the Keys

For Christmas this year, my co-workers gave me a gift that just keeps-on-giving: A blender that runs off a two-stroke motor.

Imagine how much fun we had with that, at the Pirate campout in Marathon last week.

What a HOOT!

Note - this may make an appearance at Lima. For the folks who are concerned about the noise, it will not appear after 10 PM in the quiet area.

I am trying to come up with a frozen beverage appropriate for Beemerville........... thinking, thinking........

Great! Another engine for Brian to rebuild every winter. :)

Needed - one 6oz can of frozen lemonade concentrate, add to blender
about 1/2 can water to blender
refill can with favorite bourbon, add to blender
maybe just a touch of sugar
start blender, then add ice cubes until blender is full and contents
well blended and smooth
pour into drinking containers
ENJOY!

Kinda like a whiskey-sour slush, really goes good on hot summer evenings!

If I had only known!

I remember passing by that campground last week on my way to Key West and remembered thinking that it looked like a good place to stop...Now I wish that I had! I have a few cocktail recipes and would have enjoyed the company. I put 4355 solo miles on the LT that week and was starting to talk to myself...sober.

See you in Lima! (Close to the beer tent)

Recipe Problem!

Manic M....the problem with your recipe is toooooo much sugar and toooooo much lemonade concentrate! Make mine a bourbon slushy to go!!! = 8>)
