R1100 RT headlight stays on

The headlight on my 2000 RT has started to stay on after the ignition is turned off and the key removed. It doesn't always do it, just some of the time. The components involved with the headlight seem to be the right multiswitch and the ignition switch. Any suggestions?

Headlight is on load relay, which is connected directly to battery, so it could be sticking on with key off. Instrument lights and tail light are not on load relay (only key); so if they are off when headlight stays on, it would be sticky load relay.

To test Load Relief Relay you can swap it with the Horn Relay (but note that a stuck light is nicer than a stuck horn.:laugh)

Otherwise, there is a history of frayed or shorted wires at the base of the ignition switch. Does the stuck light flicker when you wiggle wires or handlebars?
