Sidecars on the Square...Bloomsburg 2011

Here are some pix from the sidecar gathering at the fountain in downtown Bloomsburg. 30 rigs showed up. There were probably 20-30 more at the rally who had other priorities...like lying in the shade and keeping hydrated!!!. There were some beautiful rigs at the vintage display as well. I did not have my camera with me when viewing the the 'old timers'.

I haven't posted pix in a long time...I hope this works...

Thanks for the Pixs.... Sorry I could not be there with my C and the Squire S/C with you guys. The heat beat me into the Ground on Saturday and that was too much to deal with for me to be in the center of town.:cry

If any one has any cool/hot sidecar pix from the rally, please send them to me.
I will submit a number of pix to the ON for publication.

send them to...

thanks

Ditto for me. Barley had a real hard time with the heat and humidity at the RA Rally in Wisconsin, and that was 10 degrees cooler. I just couldn't see putting him through another sauna and coming out the other side with any expectation of him ever traveling with me again.

Sorry I missed/bailed out on y'all. I'd been there since Wednesday and simply couldn't stand the heat any longer. Plus I had a couple of family issues I had to deal with, so I had to go.

I waved crazily at every sidecar driver I saw though - maybe that makes up for it a little?

What a great show of sidecars!

This is what it is all about, a bunch of us getting together to show others how much fun they can have.
I was happy to have the new Tip Teq Heeler mounted on time for the show. We need to get the sidecar scene opened up like this more often.

The sidecar gathering was a first (I believe) for a National...hopefully not the last.

I like this pic because it shows my rig, the white R100RS with Motorvation Formula 11. I dropped at the fountain and returned to the rally, as I was working First Aid and we were pretty busy. :wave

Hank,

Here's another one. I see that groovy RS off to the right...
Nice rig.

...and they said there was 'little interest' while trying to get the forum pixels lined up.
To that I say "FEH!"

Too bad for the heat folks... Safety first.
Regardless, thanks for sharing. Some great looking rigs! :thumb
