PC680 12v Odyssey Drycell Battery

I'm looking to replace the battery on my 01' k12rs with the PC680 12v Odyssey Drycell. $135. Anyone have any thoughts about this battery as to its performance and longevity?

GREAT battery! Two of my bikes have them. 6 years and still going strong. Tons of power and VERY little self discharge.

I believe I read that a standard battery has 1-2% self discharge per day and these are like 1-2% per month. You can leave it for months without it being on a charger and it still have plenty of starting power.

Go for it!

They are a fantastic battery!!! I have a PC925 in my K1 and a PC680 in my R1100RTP.
The K1 I ride MAYBE twice a year and has cranked over with loads of power every time for at least the past 6 or 7 years. The RTP I use on almost a daily basis during the good weather months.
During the winter storage, or in the case of the K1 which sits mostly, both are wired for a Battery Tender.

The next time my Optima yellow top craps out in my F-150 pick up, on the second one since '08, I'm buying an Odyssey for it.
In fact I've seen a PC680 in a built Corvette! The guy said it cranks it right over!

Not a very elegant hold down bracket for a Vette with a Lingenfelter engine!
