R1200RT 2011 tank bag gascap ring question

Does anyone happen to know if the Bags-Connection Gascap Bottom Ring actually works with the 2011 model, sites vary in listing up through 08, some '10 but can't find anything on why it would or wouldn't work on the 2011. If anyone has a quick yes or no feedback that would be awesome.

Bags Connection Ring........

Don't know about a 2011 but it works on my 2010. In fact it also fits my 2007 K1200GT & R1150GSA even though they call for a different ring.

Thanks for the response does the cap ring with a bag attached clear the rails fine? Just trying to decide between like a daypack II or potentially just going with the BMW tankbag.

Optional Ring........

There is a optional steel ring/spacer that raises the mounting ring above the rails. The BMW tank bag fits perfectly but it's just to big for my taste.
