IRBIT, Russia ÔÇö This is the story of how a dying Soviet-era industry and an aging biker population
in the United States met and found happiness together on the streets and highways of America.

Story located below.

40 hp? Where did the extra 13 hp come from? Or is it just that is mine takes so long to get anywhere because of the UDF*

*Ural Delay Factor

The stated spec from Ural in all their literature now is 40hp.

I'm neither older nor easier & I'd love to have a new Ural rig.

If the $, space and time were available, I'd have a brand new Gear Up.
Around here it could get some use that I wouldn't make my K100 endure.

from the article...

'As peopleÔÇÖs strength and coordination wane, he said, ÔÇ£you see them transitioning to the sidecar.ÔÇØ

Let them keep thinking that. Let's not tell them how much fun it is!:dance

Considering a Harley Trike starts at $30K+...

Hacks seem a bit more reasonable and have a cool retro feel to them.
'Specially in this economy.
I think HD may regret pulling the hack line too soon.

My only experience with trikes were the three wheeled ATVs of the 70s. Dangerously unstable machines. Modern, well installed, street going machine...no idea.
I love my sidecar!!!

Those earlier honda ATC's were rolling tripods.

Trikes today are a great deal longer so the tip line in harder to get to.

I think A trike would be fun. Not hack fun... But fun nonetheless.
