ÔÇóMay 30, 2011 - EXR Memorial Day Ride.
ÔÇóRally Point and Time: 0715 at the Starbucks in West Sacramento (715 Harbor Point Place, off of Reed Ave.). TFBECO at 0745.
ÔÇóWeÔÇÖll rally for coffee in the early morning hours then ride to the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon to attend the annual Memorial Day Observance.(0900) There are usually quite a few riders from the Patriot Guard in attendance as well.
ÔÇóFrom there weÔÇÖll take a ride up to Winters for breakfast/brunch at the Putah Creek Caf?® and Bakery. We should be done by noon so those needing to get on to family activities can take off and the rest of us can take a leisurely and perhaps circuitous route home.
ÔÇóNo matter what your politics may be, itÔÇÖs important for all of us to take some time to remember those that helped and in some cases, gave all, in securing our freedoms.
ÔÇóPatriotic attire and plumage on your bikes are OK. The program usually runs about an hour. There is no charge for the observance.
