I went last weekend. It's thrown by the Madison, WI BMW Club in Soldiers Grove, WI, and they are a great bunch of people. I met my buddies at a gas station. I filled up and I did not see them, and it was almost 8:15. I went inside to pay, and I asked if she had seen to motorcycle riders. She replied "They are on the other side of the gas station." :lol3

Some rolling shots. I can't believe Whiskey is a Motorcycle Safety Instructor.

Here is what most of the East side of the state looked like.

We stopped at Cedar Grove Cheese Factory, where I purchased some Kurds with Garlic and Dill, and some smoked String Cheese.

Now that we have passed Madison, WI, the riding gets better and better.

Ok, so we made it to the rally. Friday night was fun, and a lot of our friends were there already.
Here is my good friend Captain Ron.

No rain at all. Saturday, turned out to be different. It looked cloudy when we got up, and nobody was sure if they were riding or not. I ate breakfast on site, provided for a fee by a local church. It was 8 bucks for all you can eat pancakes, fruit, sausage, bacon , and well worth it.
I left for a ride, and about 2 miles into it, it started to rain.

I tested out my new pants and the rain liner in my coat, all worked as expected. I met a ADV buddy at a gas station, Sideshow, who was at a different rally.

I returned with supplies, and we waited out the rain until about 3:00 pm

Ok, so Saturday was great after the rain stopped. We walked down to Registration to see if we had won anything.
This was down there.

I didn't win anything so we headed back to the campsite and took pictures.

I didn't win any announced door prizes, so we wandered down to the Festivities, due to start at 6.
It was packed, so we sat under a Gazebo quite comfortably.
Andy's new trailer he got for 700 bucks.

We walked up at 6pm for the awards, and it was crowded, so we sat in the Gazebo.

I won the small gloves, but that is it. We had a good dinner of Ribs, and back to the camp site.
Ron and Bob, about to give me a whoopin for taking flash pictures in the dark and blinding everybody.

There it is, I didn't take many pics on the way home. I was too worried.
In Richland Center, a kind young man pointed out I had cords showing on my tire. Eap!
We babied it home 120 miles, and I made it!
:clap

I fibbed a bit. There are nice roads on this side, but you have to look a bit.
As soon as you hit the country outside of Madison, it gets nice.
19 through Black Earth is very pretty.
