High Mileage Bike Display

Ambassador since 1984
In previous years such as 1996 there was a display of high mileage bikes at the rally. I'm not sure why it got dropped but it was one of the highlights of the rally.

I wonder if there is any chance of bringing it back this year.

Just wander around the rally and you will see plenty (160K hard ridden miles and counting on my 78 R100 and that's probably a fairly low mileage count for a 78!).

I 3rd that motion! It would be interesting to see a display of high-mileage bikes, maybe with a little bit of info on the bike...and if the owner was hanging around to tell a few stories about how they accumulated the miles, so much the better.
