No worries, glad it's working.

I try to keep the visor off the helmet until it's needed to prevent the felt from compressing over time.

I just spoke with Revzilla about my pinlock letting water drip behind it. They stated that some of the early pin lock visors did not have the correct curve and would separate from the shield in spots. He said the new ones should be better and it was already being shipped to me.

If any of you need to hear this again here it goes. Revzilla is an outstanding company and they know customer service. If they sell it they know about it and can answer any questions. Few companies now days get it but they do. They've earned my loyalty on several occasions.

Plus three for your idea of the furniture pads works like a charm, my local parachute rigger is sewing some velro on the flaps attached to chin strap, takes care of the two issues I've had...

One other thing I did to my liner was cut off the flap that you pull out to cover the top vent in the winter. I wasn't having discomfort but this reduce ed the red square on my forehead after a ride. I keep the flap in my jacket pocket and can still tuck it under the liner to cover the vents as needed.

The Euro version I have came with the velcro on the straps. It's nice to have.

Most sources say not having the Velcro is better because it allows the pads to slide as you move your head and neck around. Let us know how you like it.

I live in the deep south and heat is an issue. I've been looking at a C3 but have held off until I find out more about how cool it is in the heat of the summer.

Your comments will be helpful.

Look at my location.

It can get hot because of the sealed neck area but the air flow to the top and chin makes up for it. I still keep the shield cracked open on really hot days. When it approaches 100 I don't care what you wear, it's going to be hot. I sweat alot and haven't found the C3 to be unbearable.

At temps approaching 100 it doesn't matter if I open the shield or not because the air coming off the asphalt is hotter then whats in my helmet...no releif.
