The bike will get some freshening up on the mechanical side. We made some progress. Installed a new battery, so we can now repair the electrical gremlins. By the end of the day we were all whipped.

Yea, U go to hangout with Leo; your going to get put to work. And in the process Ur going to learn the why’s, how to’s, mechanics, electrical, brakes, engines, transmissions, clutch’s, all things motorcycles. When U go home exhausted and go to sleep, U dream in 3-D full color the Art of the Motorcycle. U were there, seen it, breathed it, done it, lived it, all consuming motorcycles. Now Leo about the R90; I was thinking zzzzzzzzzzz

Bike, kinda got my juices flowing. A hot old school twin shock R100 Airhead. Big valve, twin plugged heads, 336’ cam, 70 Hp. Twin front disc/rear drum. Plain, no fairing. American style hot rod. Bar Hopper! I’ve gotta donator bike out in garage.

    Bygone days-70 Hp R100RS

70 Hp like this R100 RS on display at BMW of Daytona Me pointing to the heads. I freshened up the heads on this RS back in the 90’s. I did some nice work, back in the day. The bike I do will be sans fairing. Nice smile Barry, U need to do that more often.

    More Bygone Days

20/25 years ago? Some time ago, anyway. At the old BMW dealership in Little Rock. My cousin, Sarah Kaden owned this /2. I thought she wouldn’t mind me sitting on it and getting my picture taken. Yep, smiling again. Gotta do that more often. BMW motorcycles make me smile.

    Honda CB1100

Saw this Honda at the dealership; I meant to get a pic of the bike with the rider. I guess I had a case of the sloes. I like a a plain bike with a potent engine. The bike has a clean look, harkening back to the old CB 750 from the late 60’s.
