Their smiles tells it all. I'm sure one of the hi-lites of their time in Memphis. We do all we can to make all who visit feel special.

If a really long motorcycle trip is out of the question for what ever reason, a short ride to Memphis and Bikes on Beale Street might be an attractive alternative. Bike on Beale every Wednesday night from around 4:00pm till around 10:00 every Wendesday Night thru this Fall. Plenty of restaurants and music to add to the mix.

I guess 1980 was the last year for B&S to be the BMW importer in the US. I bought my first motorcycle a BMW in 1984. I can guarantee you I was smiling ear to ear riding that bike back in the day.

    Out Freight Hauling

Took a load up to Philly Pa.; my buddy David called from Roanoke, Va. come down for a wild game dinner. Venison and Black Bear. Didn't have to ask twice. Load delivered and headed south for the Shenandoah Valley. David is a wild game cooking specialist.

Rolled in Saturday afternoon. David had a full spread set up on the bike lift. We chowed down on venison and all the fixxens. That night was the bear biscuits. You da man David.

Got there and should have took more pics, but 1800 miles in a day and a half ; I was beat. Did a little better the next day watching David wrench on Eddie Murphy's V-Storm. Changing the ride height with some rear suspension dog bones. It's a little harder than it looks.

Basically picking the bike up, unloading the suspension, pulling the studs out with the old bones and installing the new proper length pieces. And not dropping the bike off on the floor. David did it in short order. Eddie was all happy with the results.
