Pulled this old T outa the rag bag. Kinda sad, probably the first BMW T I ever bought; early 1980’s. Loved this time of my life. Riding in the wind; the little R50 was a good riding partner for a beginner rider.
 
Back in the early 80's the dealer in Memphis sold H/D's, BMW's, and Yamaha's. It took all three to keep the dealer afloat. The EVO Harley was on the way to save Harley. When the Harley phenomenon took off, the dealership was glad to drop Yamaha then BMW.
