    Temporary Fix

    0CC1848A-EE9C-4EDC-8211-38CAB478BB7D.jpeg
Itíll work till I get a new lens. I can do some things without Leoís help. I canít reach the side stand, Iím 6í2Ē with long legs. I canít put my spring loaded side stand safely. Iím carrying a stick to hold the stand down, so I can get off the bike. Leo, I need help to defeat the spring loaded side stand. Yep, back to Leo for help. Forget what I said earlier.

Allen LaBarrearre and his cool R80 Custom. Been seeing this bike at ShakeRag lately, glad I finally figured out who owned it.

My R100R; making progress on this bike. Check out the ice scraper leaned up on the bike; my side stand accessory. Time to get the side stand issue resolved along with a few other issues.

If y'all didn't make it to Barber's Vintage Fest, then here are a couple of shots I put on the Feed. They had had terrible T'storms leading up to the event, but the weather cooperated very nicely for those arriving on Thursday through closing on Sunday, 10/10. I don't know for sure, but the 'regulars' seemed to think attendance was below 'normal,' but we were very impressed by all the action. Add it to your 2022 calendar if you're into all flavors of M/C's!

These characters were our neighbors up in the Lot D motorhome section. With our towed TimeOut pop-up, we shared a spot with our HSV friends!

The slugs took my picture; below me is the smaller "upper swap-meet area" (way on the right) along with Lot-D overflow parking. Way past the parking lot, off in the distance, is where the BMW, KTM, and Indian motorcycle big-rigs were stationed for test rides. But BMW only brought a truckload of R-18s... They are really pushing those Giants! I didn't care to test one; I like my GT just fine!

Our group of maybe 25 folks from upper Alabama had a splendid cookout on Friday evening.

Here's the Motorrad Tent in the "FAN ZONE" where many of the vendors, the Wall of Death, & food trucks galore were stationed...

There were of course many Used motorcycles to be sold or traded or purchased... Wayne Carini was there in a golf cart being ridden around the swap meet. I presume he was either buying or selling at the Mechum's m/c auction on Sunday held at the Motorcycle Museum...

The vintage racing was loud & intense in many classes. Here's a team from New York with a stable of vintage HDs! https://www.ahrma.org

We got admitted into the paddock for up-close photos! Some vintage Racers in action from the Grand Stand Terrace.

A shot of the track layout, as taken from one of the towed Trams moving folks around the venue.

Lastly, this artist brought his very large 5th-wheeler full of "interesting wares" from Cave Creek, AZ; his handle is: EricHerrmannStudios.com

    Barberís

Thx for the pics and info. Barberís is a special place. Iíve had the opportunity to visit Barbers several times in the past. Mostly mid-week and early in the day. Pretty much had the place to myself every time I stopped in. Gotta call from a friend, we gotta place for U, free. I just couldnít get my shxx together to go. Iíve been off motorcycles for some years and only recently been back to riding. Itís been quite the experience. So, Iím penciling it in for 2022.
