    Camping on the Mississippi River

Yes it's possible, Tom Sawyer Park. Just south of the Trailhead and Pancho's Restaurant is Tom Sawyer's RV Park.

Met this couple on the way out. They said they really liked camping here. They were extending their stay a few days. The're from one of the Carolinas and wanted to avoid the coming of Hurricane Florence. I understand that.

    Mississippi River

Yes, about the last 200 posts have been connected to the Mississippi River one way or another. Thought it was about time to give it a little more recognition than the typical ride over the bridge for a few minutes then on down the road. I'm sure if you could ask Samuel Clemens today about the Mississippi; he'd say it's one hell of a river.

    Shake Rag

Pretty neat Biker Bar. This is about the 3rd or 4th rendition. I really liked it a little better back in the old days. But, the location is just about perfect. Out in the country, but not to far out. It's cute, a little quaint, rustic and just plain simply cool.

Shake Rag is at the corner of West Union and Rankin Branch. Shake Rag is the next road down. I guess this was close enough to call it Shake Rag.
