Harley’s at The Old Airport Club. Best I can do at the moment. Kinda cut off from my usual runs to Memphis and north to Shake Rag. I’m trying to avoid crossing over the old bridge at Memphis. No need to add to the traffic jam crossing at the old bridge over the Mississippi on the I-55 crossing. Looks like the I-40 bridge will be closed until sometime in July.

Ran across these old T’s. They are in pretty good shape; I generally don’t pick red T’s to wear. Maybe time to wear them. I’m sure I’ll look good in Red. U know match the Red Solo Cup. :dance RED is In.

Sorry, forgot to mention how fast Moto Man looks with a Red backdrop. I've got to start paying more attention to detail. :type

This T sold at the old Return to Shiloh Rally(RTS) put on the by the BMW RAMS. The rally was moved to Parker’s Crossroads some years ago. Was talking to one of the long term members of the club. Apparently the campground being used has changed hands and the cost contract on use of the site has gone up to the point where the club will probably have to move the rally to a different site.

And Some More

I was looking at this T. and checking out the graphics. What is that? Finally decided it was a bike and rider leaned over coming head on. Not a good graphic. Should be easily identifiable. That’s why the BMW Motoman is such a great graphic. Very simple and distinctive. I think this is the end of the very exciting look into Red T-shirts. Which color is next. Nope, ain’t there. Well then again, who knows, maybe, maybe not. :brow

I-40 Still Closed at the I-40 Bridge in Memphis

This is a major problem for the Mid-South at Memphis/West Memphis/Marion. I-55 bridge is to overloaded with traffic. If your traveling thru the Mid-South heading North/South/East/West on I-55 and I-40; suggestion find some other route. This is a real hassle.

Due to this I’ve hanging out locally at the Old Airport Club on the east side Of West Memphis. They gotta a couple of local bands playing and the usual karaoke.

Just glad I got a place to go and get outa the house.

Correction

I said Old Airport Club was on the east side of West Memphis, no it's on the west side on Hiway 70 next to the airport. Sorry for the mistake; just the usual mental mistakes of aging, dementia, early onset of old timers. :gerg

Small Wixom trunk

Wixom bags and trunks manufactured in Long Beach, Ca. This was common luggage usually seen on early to mid-70’s on all brands of bikes.

When U purchase an older bike, it’s good to get all the stuff U can. A lot of items are no longer available or quite expensive to buy used.
