R100GS vs R100GSPD

Can anyone illuminate the differences between a 93 R100GS and a 93 R100 GSPD? Bike is registered as a GS, however engine # indicates a GSPD series. Bike looks like a PD, but no PD decals. Has all the items indicated for a PD.
 
Dry Weight
GS 439
PD 456

Seat
GS 2
PD 1
Height is identical

Fuel
GS 6.34 Gal
PD 9.25

All I can think of at the moment. Engine and trans are the same. Not sure about suspension travel.
 
Thanks fellows, I have already visited those sites. So far all I see is one bike has no PD decals. Difference in weight is probably the large gas tank ??
