Thread: Rally Flyfishing

I would also like to re-emphasize the idea of smallmouth fishing on the Susquehanna or Juniata. That's as much fun with ultralight spinning as flycasting. They've been off a bit the past few years, but it used to be easy to get double digit catches while wading. Even better is renting a canoe from Blue Mountain Outfitters and doing an eight mile float. That's also a nice trip even without fishing.

When you're visiting Fishing Creek near Tylersville, one should always think of Prince Farrington and the glory days of Bootlegging in PA. Local legend has it that President Hoover served Farrington liquor at his Inaugural Ball.
