Last major part acquired for Reversion back to 75C - Photos added

Finally got the last major part, C fairing and windshield, I needed to remove that infernal UGLY Pichler fairing off my '86 K75c and get it back to original. I came to loath that Pichler. Ugly as sin, buffeted all around my helmet regardless of what length wind screen I had on it. It is so beat up I'm embarrassed by it.

With vigilante automatic searches of that auction site and careful bidding, I've acquired the headlight assembly, C fairing with crystal clear windscreen, and back panel. All I need now is the attachment bits and pieces and turn signals, some paint and elbow grease.

Once I complete the project I'll be sure to post before and after pics.

Hopefully I'll have it completed by Christmas -- got a lot of irons in the fire at the moment.

Also my live in accountant has warned me about my hobby budget excesses. Better not upset "She who must be obeyed".

don't know that anyone really wants the thing or it's worth trading.... it's cracked on the left side inter panel where rear front sections bolts together with a misaligned jury rigged repair by the previous owner. Bad repair paint on the left outside from the spill he took. New rider...... Also it's the upper only without the lower engine fairing section.

If the bike hadn't been a 12.7K cherry otherwise one would have passed on it.

Truth is I'll probably end up trashing it and put the good Gustafsson windscreen up or sale or auction.

If the auction listing is the one I think it is, you got a steal!!!!

I recently had a little get-off on my K75c and trashed my fairing. I was too impatient to wait for an auction to come up, so I bought a new one from the dealer. The fairing plus painting was almost $500. I was able to salvage my wind screen.

Please post up some pics of your bike.

Only digital camera I have is my pda/cell phone. early addition so the pixel count is really low. But I'll post a few anyway. Now these will be useless as it's only gonna be the before the as the after hasn't happened yet.

had a buy now on it... within minutes of my email notification I bought it.

This is the color. Gonna have to paint it Avus Black but colorite.com has the correct color available.
