Need help in Palm Springs Dec-Jan

I just moved and lost my owners handbook! Now that I've started this thread, I will probably find it tomorrow. But in case I don't, I'm putting out this call for assistance.

We need local help with motorcycle shipping in late December/early January.

We are parents travelling with children on vacation from Virginia to Palm Springs. We will fly into LAX Dec 27th. Our bikes will be shipped to and picked up from our Palm Springs hotel (or maybe your place nearby?).

All the transporters say they can't guarantee an exact delivery date, and they all need somebody on hand to sign for the bikes and help unload.

If you think you can help, please reply to this thread. I have subscribed to get weekly updates.

If all this gets too complicated, another option would be to rent bikes out there, but does anybody know of a BMW rental company that will deliver to the California desert?

I really appreciate your help.
