SURVIVOR
There is news circulating on the BMW Vets organization that Paul Bachorz is ill. He has reportedly been in and out of the hospital over the past few days; last report I saw earlier today was that he is back in the hospital. I do not know him well but have had some great exchanges with him here and on other forums. Seems like a classy guy.

Here's wishing Paul a speedy recovery.

Our heartfelt wishes for a speedy and complete recovery. Paul is one of the good guys, for sure. Please keep us posted, Kevin.

Thanks for the info. I really like Paul and have enjoyed working with him on a couple of things over the years.

Best wishes to you Paul for a full recovery. :wave

The last we spoke over the phone I thought he was whipping this thing. Hope your getting better shipmate!

Hurry up and get better Paul. There are roads to ride and things to do yet before that long nap.

Damn. No Salty Fog for me either, but it's only been a mild fever, and I did make it as far as Calais before turning around. Get well, Chief.

Come together

All your friends at the BMWMOA come together with a little energy.

We are all thinking of you, Paul.

The Heifermeister, Lynn, and I rode over to Saratoga Hospital to see Paul. He has double pneumonia and is being treated for it. He managed a pretty hearty Argggggh from an old Sea Dog, but he tired quickly. He was happy to see us. He did not have the pneumonia when admitted a couple weeks ago - this is something new. He is in good spirits and expressed appreciation to all who helped make the RA Rally happen. He will get out of the ICU when his oxygen intake is at the right level and they can take him completely off the machine. They have started the weaning process.

Do continue keeping him in mind.

Best,
Muriel

Paul, thanks for all your hard work to make the rally happen. Now - put that same effort into getting better.

Hope you're feeling better real soon.
