A special event for up to 250 rally attendees has just been confirmed for Friday, July 16th.

A fun ride over to Mt. Bachelor on the Cascade Lakes highway loop, park the bike at Mt. Bachelor and take a memorable sightseeing chairlift ride. You can relax and look out over the Cascade mountains as the chairlift slowly rises to up to mid-mountain level at 7,500 feet.

Then feast on the breathtaking views ... and a hearty buffet ... at the Pine Marten Lodge. The buffet lunch consists of pulled pork, smoked tri-tip, baked beans, fruit, cole slaw, cookies, coffee, tea, soft drinks. Also included is a special event BMW MOA (non-breakable) wine goblet.

The chairlift starts running at 11:30 am and lunch will be served at noon. The fee is $30.

On-line registration is open at www.bmwmoa.org or call the BMW MOA Office at 636-394-7277. Registration will close as soon as we reach 250 or at midnight on Thursday, July 15.

This will be a memorable event. :wow

The visit to Mt. B is on a great ride - Cascades Loop Hwy, aka Century Drive. Also the road that comes up from Sunriver was redone a few years ago so it is 18 miles of great sweepers. The day it re-opened I rode it three times it was so much fun.

A big +1 on this one.

some pictures of the area are here:
