Lube for LT/RT Electric Windscreen Tracks

Howdy Folks - title says it all, anyone know what the official lube is? Or better yet (in honor of once-recommended red BMW spline lube) anyone know of a better option?

    Thanks!

    Hi Ted,

How's it going? I use Tri-Flow liquid not gel. I use it to clean and lube the slider shafts and I have never had a problem with the windshield and I adjust it all the time at speed.

    Hi, Ted,
My (various) manuals recommend a silicon lube. I have it in a spray can. Every once-in-a-while (when I have the guide rails exposed for some reason) I wipe them down with a rag and then spray them with the silicon lubricant. I must be doing something right because none of my RT's (2 K1100LT's, a K75RT and a K75RTP) have given me any problems with the guide sticking.
