"1966 YAMAHA CUSTOM BATCYCLE. THIS BATCYCLE WAS BUILT FROM A 1966 YAMAHA YDS3-250, THE SAME BIKE USED ON THE BATMAN TV SHOW."

Can't tell by the listing if it's built from the same kind of bike used in the show, or it was used on the show. Still a very cool bike. But $20 grand CDN? Better have been used on the show and have Adam West's butt print on the seat!

I think it's a replica. At least that's what I got out of it.

Here's some info on the real one

One might think that, with all that weight and only 250cc that this would be a rather slow bike. But, with the addition of that special bat-fuel additive........

I did a bunch of reading on the one in the movie...that little go-kart in the sidecar got But Ward sent to the ER a few times...in fact in the commentary-track of the DVD of the 1966 film Adam West says that most of the cast got injured with surprising frequency. I'm proud to own the DVD; it's one of the great badfilms of all time and West's commentary is almost as priceless in places as his dialog in the film is.

I suggested to my wife that we buy it. I also suggested we could get Batman and Batgirl costumes and take it to local rodeo/fair parades. She said no in no uncertain terms.

    More info

Also, this page has lots of interesting stuff, including the fact that the original TV BatCycle was a Harley with a non-go-kart sidecar:
