went on easily enough. looks good (to me, anyway).had to fabricate a mount with a bit of metal from home depot. the one that came with it didn't work.i did paint the mount black subsequent to these photos. it doesn't deflect much wind (duh!). i like it so far. if i don't it,it comes off by loosening the bolts on the headlight and i'm back to square one.

Hey all: J.C. Whitney has a fairing that looks very much like this one listed for 79.99. They work pretty good for what you pay. They also list one made by Maier for 114.99 that allows for turn signals that mount at the headlight mounts. If you haven't looked at one of their catalogs lately, they have some pretty good stuff. Vaya con Dios, Dutch

Maier makes this in rectangular and round headlight versions. Copy of a 82 GPZ 550.

A.A.; The Maier fairing is offered by J.C. whitney for 114.99. You can see it at jcwhitney.com. Have bought one for a CB750 cafe project, very good "kit". Hope this helps. Vaya con Dios, Dutch

What type handlebars do you have? Euro, S, or American? I'm seriously considering a similar fairing.

Larry: I will be using a set of "drag bars also sold by Whitney. In fact, a fair amount of the parts will be from this source; Shocks, brake pads and linings, seat, mirrors, (bar ends, sold for ATVS), and mufflers. The mufflers are short "reverse cone megaphones that should sound pretty good combined with the air filter pods (also from Whitney.) Hope to have it running for the Gilmore show next month. No promises though. Vaya con Dios, Dutch
