Barn Photos

Barn Photos show up in all kinds of threads in the photography section no matter what the subject. So let's make a Barn Thread.
Here's a couple of guidelines.
Post a single photo and tell us about it. Where, history, the ride to get there, whatever strikes your fancy and makes it interesting to you. If you want to just post the picture that's cool too. The barn can be old, falling down, well maintained, new or perfect. There must be a reason why you took the picture right? It needs to be a photo you took, digital or otherwise.
This does not need to be like the threads where one thing relates to another, just a picture of a barn.
I'll start.

This barn is in Illinois in the Mississippi river bottoms. I like old barns and loved the colors of the field, very autumn.

I can see this barn from my back deck here in Cleveland, TN. The old man died a while back and I have no idea what the family will do with it or the land. There isn't much land, but a few of my neighbors and I have offered to buy the land and subdivide it to increase the size of our backyards.

Took this photo whilst out ridin' my ol' '78 RS. Iowa barn. Summer 2009. Says "1905" near ridgeline if you look closely!

And here is the whole enchilada! Barn (s) included. A modern working Iowa farm. Photo from my ol' 78 RS.

California coast version. I was exploring a dead end road someplace between Half Moon Bay and Pescadero (forget exactly where) and stopped to take a few pics.

Buddy is 13 years old and still loves to ride. He doesn't get much riding in any more as he has become a lap dog. We are giving home care for Barb's 91 year old mom and he is her constant companion
