Great news SJ BMW, Ducati and Triumph owners!
Our good friend Rob Kiviat "RK" has joined forces with Norman Garrett and the Eckenhoff family to open up and run Eckenhoff Motorcycles of Cherry Hill.
This new shop will be located at 919 Church Road, Cherry Hill, NJ (on the site of the old Eckenhoff Buick dealership) near the Cherry Hill Mall.
Rob will be running the shop of course, masterfully operating on whatever comes through the doors especially those 1972 - current BMW's. Word has it that Rob is even going to have a dyno in the shop!Cool! Norman (also a BMW Master Mechanic) specializes in the Ducatis. Triumphs owners will be welcome too as both these master mechanics can handle the British bikes too. Plans call for a V-Twin specialist, Gary Delfico, to join up in the near future to keep our HD/Victory friends happy. Although the shop will primarily be focussing on maintanance and repair - Alan, (from the old DeSimone store) will be handling parts and accessories so that will be available and in good hands. Labor rates are going to be REASONABLE which we all appreciate.
This new venture is scheduled to open the week of March 8th - just in time for the spring riding season.
You can call Eckenhoff Motorcycles at 856-482-5300 or check out their website (which should be up soon...) eckenhoffmc@eckenhoff.com

I just missed RK, but saw Norman and Alan about a month ago as the first bike was being serviced, pre-opening. Great news it is and I wish them the best of luck.

All Rob will need now is a coffee pot perking and an open-door on Saturday mornings, and the local NewSweden/NJ-Shore lunch group will descend on his new shop. We've been at odds since DeSimone closed it's doors.

Had to run over to buy a battery last Saturday. RK and Alan are up and running! Norman is gone, but they have a H-D mechanic working with them now, and hope to add another wrench soon.

It was great to see their smiling faces, and I'm sure they will be extremely customer focused!

Picked up a new fuel filter and K&N air filter at Eckenhoff Motorcycles yesterday. The shop is up and running and RK and Alan and Gary are doing well.

Looking to have a number of customer focused events in the very near future.

We are on the tail end of a 4600+ mile 3 week vacation to the mid-west in our camper and our last stop was at my uncle's place in southern jersey. Knowing that this place was opened recently, my wife and I decided to stop by. Alan could not have been friendlier. He gave us a complete tour of the budding business (didn't meet Rob, he'd left for the day already) but the shop looks busy and there are three VERY nice bikes in the showroom on consignment including an 1150GS that my wife sat on. I worried that she was going to make an offer on the spot!! You guys are lucky to have a gem here!! Enjoy it!

I thought y'all were gonna say Snookie and The Situation are gone from the TV:dance

Who???? Oh, you mean the NEW YORKERS that claim to be examples of us fine Jersey Shore folk.

They make me seriously ill. And I'm sure most New Yorkers feel the same. No wonder they were exported.
