Out for a ride today. Easy to social distance on a motorbike!

Olympic Mountains from the Hood Canal (really a fjord). Salt water to 6000'. About half an hour from my house.

A craft distillery in Hoodsport. Good stuff!

And a picnic lunch at the Ranger Hole trailhead. Named for a stretch of the Duckabush River where early forest rangers (circa 1920) used to fish. A historic ranger station is also here. Cool place.

Riding a back road today and came across this drilling rig going up, I had to stop and watch. I can't believe it was going up given the current price of oil.

Thought I would leave the RT at home and ride the Versys on this great spring day. That’s the Mighty Mo river just south of Defiance,Mo

Commuted a couple of days of work on tMy favourite bike. These were the first long’ish rides since a full rebuild after a water pump and main bearing failure. Really happy to have this one back up and running.

First real ride

After the initial slab home from seller's house and a few quick loops around town to get the inspection done and basically show her off to some like minded friends, I finally got some time to sneak away yesterday for a "real" ride. 350sh across MA, Southern VT and looping back through NH, before the mega storm went CRAZY [my timing was both fortunate and impeccable].

Lots of first impressions for perhaps a longer post. All the usual questions and concerns about new sounds, smells, etc. BUT...

Dang happy to be owning this bike! She's smooth and unslow and I think very purty.

:burnout

[Location is Rt. 2 Florida MA overlook, if you ride around here you know the spot.]
