    New member from Florida

    Hello to everyone,
I am a new member from south Florida.I ride a 03 1150rt with a few adjustments here nad there to make it my own.I have been riding for 20 years on and off. This is my second BMW.I had a r90/6 before as well. The riding in south Florida is not that great except this time of year of course, which is why I like the rt to get out of fl.time permitting and funds allowing.Anyways hello to all.

Nice intro post with pic included Detour.

Glad to have you here. Looks like December is going to be a record month for new members. Enjoy riding today while I look out my window at ice on the lake.

Hope to see you on the road.

Welcome to the forum -- I've ridden by the sign where your photo was snapped a few times -- but it takes me a bit longer to get there from here.

    Howdy and welcome.
Been to the park on a day when the mountains were really "smokin'" but I was not on the bike.
    Enjoy your ride.

Welcome! We've got an active MSTA (Motorcycle Sport Touring Association) group in central and south Florida. In fact there is an MSTA South Florida ride this Saturday. Groups will be meeting in Punta Gorda for lunch. You can check MSTA out at http://www.sporttouring.us

Again, glad to have you here!

Welcome to the forum and good looking bike you have there. Good looking bluegill you have there too. Here I thought that I was fished from my bike. I often carry my fly rod with me when I am wondering, just in case I find virgin waters (to me) that just have to be fished.

You've got my attention. I was wondering the same thing -- what kind of rod/reel combo do you use. Fresh water or salt-water? Is your rod a one piece, telescopic, or two-piece? I'm interested in carrying rod/reel/tackle for light salt-water fishing and was wondering if anybody was already doing this.
