Question Public S1000RR vs. Factory S1000RR

This question is directed to N8 if he monitors this forum. With all this SBK time does any of their(Corser, Xaus) findings make their way down to the final version of the S1000RR prior to the public model version is made available. In other words are there any final 'tweaks' made to the general public versions...??

    S1000RR -- Public vs Factory

I'm not N8 but you might be interested in knowing that an article in the current edition of Motor Cyclist Magazine entitled "Superlative Superbike" (Pg. 30) claims that much of the positive things that were learned in the BMW SBK campaign of '09 were funneled back to the factory and incorporated in the production bikes.

While there are race only components to a WSBK racing bike the class is intended to link and downstream developments at the track to the street by how bikes are homologated. In the case of the S1000RR the bike saw its US debut at the Miller Park race in June of شاض09. It took six months to make it to the show room in no small part due to the fact the programming for the suspension and traction control was still very much a work in progress.

You are correct in your assumption..but I was looking for a unique perspective thru the eyes of one of our own MOA Ambassadors, who by chance races one of these bikes, with his insight of the track bike...that most if not all(general public) are not privileged to ride..

Sorry to have bothered to make an observation, why don't go to his website and ask him in that case?
