I'm new here, but not all that new to BMW bikes. I'm currently on my second one in 6 years. I have had my R1200GS Adventure for a year now and have put 10,000 miles on it so far. Prior to that I had the K1200S. I've ridden in a few MOA rides, but just never joined up... til now. I look forward to learning more about this community!

Welcome from a transplanted Coloradoan. (Graduated Arvada HS)

Great intro and pic of bike. Where was the picture taken?

Lots of great riding in Colorado and I've tried to sample a lot of it.

Check out the Colorado Beemer club. Good folks with a lot of activity.

Welcome Dendang - I have ALWAYS wanted an GSA - it is one of my favorites.

Great place to ride it where you are at.

Check in often and have fun out there.

Luis

Thanks

I appreciate the warm welcome. I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be a lot of Adventure bikes on here. Ah well, I guess I'll be sorta unique. :blush

The photo above was from Blue Mesa Res. near Gunnison on the western slope of CO. That pic was taken on the way home from Moab, UT.

I've done the 100,000 ft ride with the Colorado BMW club and that was quite a hoot. It was 100K feet in vertical elevation change in 500 miles. I believe we crossed the continental divide something like 6 times throughout the day! Here's a pic of that...I'm the one on the right.

Oh, and John - I found that decal at a skateboard shop. I put it on the right side because I wanted to see the look on the Harley guys faces when I pass em up....:bolt

wow, is that ever the right bike for where you ride.

btw, i used to have a smaller version of that decal (your avatar and bag sticker) on the rear mud guard of my 1150GS. :evil
